Mit dem folgenden Befehl, kann man prüfen, ob der Pool bereit zum upgrade ist. Da ich nur einen einzelnen Server im Pool habe, verursacht ein Upgrade eine Downtime
Get-CsPoolUpgradeReadynessState
Wenn auf dem Exchange Server die Lync Instant Messaging Integration konfiguriert wurde, so sollte man die Lync Komponenten auf dem Exchange Server ebenfalls aktualisieren.
Danach müssen auf dem Frontend Server die Datenbanken aktualisiert werden
Lync Server 2013 Standard Edition
Install-CsDatabase -ConfiguredDatabases -SqlServerFqdn SE.FQDN -Verbose
Lync Server 2013 Enterprise Edition
Install-CsDatabase -ConfiguredDatabases -SqlServerFqdn FEBE.FQDN -Verbose
Um die Installation abzuschliessen ist noch folgender Befehl notwendig
Enable-CsTopology
Lync 2013 / Skype4B Client Update
Für den Client existieren ebenfalls Updates

Wird das Update über Windows Update eingespielt, so muss weder der Lync 2013 / Skype for Business Client noch Outlook geschlossen werden. Dafür ist dann ein Neustart des Systems notwendig.
